About SerumScientist
Most skincare brands sell hope.
We sell mechanism.
Engineered for Skin Intelligence.
Why SerumScientist Exists
The skincare industry is built on beautiful packaging and vague promises. Ingredients are listed without dosing. Claims are made without citations. Products are marketed as transformative when the active concentration is too low to do anything at all.
SerumScientist was built as a direct response to that.
We believe your skin doesn't need more products — it needs the right signals. Signals that activate cellular repair. Signals that trigger regeneration. Signals that restore the biological communication your skin loses with age, stress, and environmental damage.
Everything we carry is selected because the mechanism is understood, the evidence is real, and the result is measurable.
The Science We Build On
We operate at the frontier of regenerative biology and clinical skincare. Our catalog is anchored in the most validated actives in modern dermatology and longevity science:
PDRN — Polydeoxyribonucleotide
Salmon-derived DNA fragments that activate the A2A adenosine receptor, stimulate fibroblast proliferation, accelerate tissue repair, and drive angiogenesis at the cellular level. Used clinically in wound healing and post-procedure recovery for decades before the skincare world caught up.
Exosomes — Lab-Grown Extracellular Vesicles
Nano-sized signaling particles carrying growth factors, mRNA, and proteins that instruct skin cells to regenerate. The most advanced delivery system in regenerative skincare — not a trend, a technology.
GHK-Cu — Copper Peptide Complex
A tripeptide-copper complex first isolated in human plasma in 1973. Shown to modulate over 4,000 genes involved in collagen synthesis, wound healing, anti-inflammatory response, and antioxidant defense. One of the most studied peptides in skin biology.
Longevity Actives
Fisetin, EGCG, DiBerberine, and Quercetin — senolytics and metabolic regulators that target cellular senescence, glycation, and systemic inflammation. Skin aging is systemic. Our approach is too.
Clinical Devices
Microneedling bio pens, red light therapy masks, and cryo tools that amplify topical actives by orders of magnitude — because the best serum in the world is limited by how well it penetrates.
Robert Lee — The Serum Scientist
I didn't come to longevity science from a laboratory. I came to it from necessity.
A broken neck (C2–C3), a broken back, two heart attacks, and eight stents. By any measure, I shouldn't be here — and I certainly shouldn't be building a biotech skincare brand. But through the grace of God, I have somewhat healed. I just can't run around the block yet. (And yes, I'm laughing about it.)
Living through that kind of physical adversity forces you to understand your body at a level most people never have to. You study. You research. You ask hard questions about what actually works — not what's marketed, not what's expensive, but what the biology actually says. That obsession with mechanism over marketing is the foundation of everything SerumScientist stands for.
My goal is simple: to educate people that advanced skincare and haircare science doesn't have to break the bank. The actives that genuinely work — PDRN, GHK-Cu, exosomes, ceramides — are accessible. The science is real. And the results are for everyone, not just those who can afford a med-spa.
I'm a researcher by passion, a survivor by grace, and a believer in this: think big, believe big, act big, work big, give big, forgive big, laugh big, love big, and live big.
Make the best of each day. That's the protocol.
His product standard is built around one rule: "If you can't explain the mechanism, it doesn't belong in the formula."
Every product in the SS catalog has been personally reviewed against that standard.
How We Build Protocols, Not Products
Single-ingredient products are a starting point. Systems are where results compound.
SerumScientist organizes its catalog into protocol-driven series designed to address the full biology of a skin concern — not just its surface appearance:
- Repair Series — Barrier restoration, post-procedure recovery, inflammation control
- Regeneration Series — PDRN, exosomes, stem cell ampoules, growth factor serums
- Signal Series — Copper peptides, retinoids, vitamin C, niacinamide
- Longevity Stack — Senolytics, anti-glycation actives, NAD+ support
- Devices — Red light therapy, microneedling, cryo tools
Each series is designed to work independently — and exponentially when stacked.
The SerumScientist Standard
Every product we carry must meet four non-negotiable criteria:
- Clinically validated actives — peer-reviewed evidence, not marketing claims
- Transparent formulations — no proprietary blends that obscure what's actually in the bottle
- Mechanism-first positioning — we explain how it works before we tell you what it does
- Protocol integration — every product has a place in a system, not just a shelf
We are not a beauty brand. We are a biotech skincare intelligence platform — built for people who want to understand their skin, not just cover it up.
Go Deeper — The Science Journal
Our Science Journal is where we publish long-form research on ingredients, mechanisms, and protocols. Written by Robert Lee. Grounded in clinical literature. Designed to make you the most informed person in the room when it comes to your skin.
Recent deep-dives: PDRN Decoded, Exosomes Decoded, Anti-Aging & Wrinkles Decoded, Microneedling Decoded, Glass Skin Glow Decoded, and more.
